View Full Version : Create a MP character.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before. However i just had a good idea for AC:B MP modes. What about a option were you could create your own MP character?

Pick his or hers clothes, weapons, armour, looks and attributes and more. I think that would be quiet cool your thoughts and what you think could be added to my suggestion welcome http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif ?

It was discussed many times before.

If we did have an option of creating our own multiplayer character and choosing to play with it, the whole aspect of stealth in the game would ruin and collapse into itself like an "end of the universe" theory.

Also, the game engine would have to scan and render and save all of the characters that would be created in order to use them in a multiplayer match(Or something like that).

After creating the multiplayer charecter, you should be able to save him/her you should be able to join random servers with other people, cool surrounding and also loads of guards and civilians.
There should be a map of the small area with live locations of your friends so you can find them if they rub away from guards and stuff...

I think MegaMaster said everything that has been said before and hits the exact spot of why it isn't a good idea to create your own Multiplayer Characters. Besides, you can modify your characters. For instance, you can give the Harlequin other colours and such once you've unlocked them. You can give the Doctor another mask and coat.

Yea fair enough guys that answered that lol.

Yeah, at least we can unlock some awesome new outfits for them!

That ship has sailed, been looted by pirates, caught in a storm, sunk into the abyss and is now a shipwreck somewhere on the ocean floor in the Bermuda Triangle. Oh and look, here comes the Kraken.

Gabe said that there would be 2 tiers for each character that would make them look even more "awesome" then they are now.

being able to change colors and what not still defeats the purpose of the game... whats the point of having a rainbow colored harlequin when on the surroundings he brown for eg... will be easly identifiable and well known its a player and not an npc... or different color mask of the healer to the npc...

so it still defeats the purpose. then we mite as well have customizable mp characters.

There will be different colour schemes and somewhat little changes in the look of the character, so it will not be gamebreaking to the point of too easy.

Besides, they are registered in the database and probably servers of the game so they could be easily rendered into a multiplayer game.

I wonder where is Robson..

yes but the purpose of u not being able to point out that easly is because there is a lot happening at once so its difficult to take notice and still do other multiple things..

but some ppl are more visual then others so it wont be to difficult.

As for the npc's being render as players is not completely authentic and np's cant all render 5 different harlequins. not being negative just trying to be realistic.

08-20-2010, 08:20 AM
well, all the NPC's could have random colour schemes anyway.

Every player chooses a different multiplayer character and there can never be two players using the same character model.

If they would allow two or more players to choose the same character, it could be mess up the game.

Imagine 8 players that all chose the Noble as their character model, You would not want to play in a world where everybody is a Noble.

And AC's engine can put up to 30 or more or less(I think) in the same area of the protagonist.

COD 7 Black Ops is kinda doing this with Create A Class 2.0 so it's possible but probs way hard
