Thanks for your comments mate.

Besides the fun I get out of developing MM, it's comments such as these that keep me going with it.

Sorry I'm being dumb (and I don't have the help file from 2.4). The program lets me set up everything, I save as a mte file and then what? Don't I need a mis file?
I'm sure it's a simple answer...

Also I now have a shiny new Mission Mate-based loading screen which has replaced my default PF loading screen. I don't really want to see this every time I fly so which file do I need to replace to get back to where I was?

Thanks

Hi Vacillator,

The mte file is a file that saves Mission Mate settings from the current session. If you have loaded a sample MM file, the next thing to do is click the "Create Mission" button near the top right corner of the window, then "Alt + Tab" to FB.
If this does not make sense then I suggest the 2.4 version with help file which explains all this in detail.

Mission Mate only sets the background image if there is no other background image in the custom mission folder, that is to say, if Mission Mate is the first 3rd party app to load missions into the "NN" mission folder.

If you wish to remove this image you must delete it from the NN mission folder as you would delete any other file from your computer, or replace it with an image of your choosing.

If you need more help with clearing the image file let me know I will be glad to help you through it.

Cheers, CS. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the help CS!

Looks like I made an mte file but didn't press 'Create mission'.

I presume the mission goes into the 'None' folder (is that NN?).

I did have 2.4 downloaded but hadn't got round to trying it. When I saw 2.5 I installed it and rather hastily got rid of 2.4 so I've got no help file. I couldn't see 2.4 on M4T to re-download.
Anyway I'll give your suggestions a go later on.
It looks good if I can get it working.
