It's ordered and paid for and I should have it in the machine by tomorrow night. (I hope)

I'm running an XP2000/512PC-133/Win98. What drivers would be best for me?

Also, what settings for AA and AF and all the other things should I use? I know very little about those things.

Thanks.

(I asked this in another thread but was rebuked, spanked, cast assunder and told to take my questions into my own topic. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif)

ATI has followed M$s lead and has stopped supporting Win 98. The last driver you could get for it is the cat4.3. Since you may want to experiment with Perfect, either the 4.1 or 4.2 will work for well for you.

Don't expect a miracle, but it should make it more fun. If your previous vid card was considered weak for gaming you might wonder how you enjoyed it.

Steve is right about using the 4.1s or 4.2s if you want perfect settings to be flyable.

You will also need to do a clean install.

Your PC133 is also a bottleneck that you'll need to fix before you can run the game real smoothly http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Good luck!

Hawg-Dawd, you're Bad_MF? I'll try to go with your team next time. Good fun on UBI except for a few cheeseheads.

As for my old GF4-4200, you know, it was, and is, a pretty good card. Got my money's worth with it that's for sure. Was a BIG leap up from my GF2 64 meg. I hope I see the same improvements this time.

Can't wait to fire up IL2 with the 9800 Pro! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
