Any word if there EVER going to fix the problem of aircraft nav lights on over enemy territory. Probably the most unrealistic bug in the game by far (well except for the stalls). Isn't is POSSIBlE to put in some code that makes them automatically shut off at least when you cross enemy territory? Though in the LWs case by 1944 they ussually wouldn't even turn them on over Germany.

think they might turn them off if enemy aircraft around, not sure..

in the mid to late days of bomber command they would climb over britain, and then they would all turn onto a heading and turn off the nav lights, at exactly the same time http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

nav lights where also used to trick the enemy into thinking your friendly at times, thats more night fighter/intruder trick tho

It would honestly be better to have them just turned off completely if that is easier than any other coding change, IMO.

Either turned off completely or turned on only while at the takeoff and landing nav point.

If its a problem to make something more sophisticated work...then just turn them off.

Yeah.. I have always been able to track them down since they are kinda tannenbaums in the night sky.
