Anyone here have or contemplating buying a wingman force feed back 3d stick ,

I just bought one and so far i think it's a piece of crap spent three days trying to programme and calibrate it with little or no affect f/f on and off same thing roll rate on most all planes was around about the same 1 or 2 seconds way too fast and virtually near impossibile to control a fw190 even set game settings to wind and turbulance off - head shake off - giro's off - torgue off same thing all aircraft pitching nose up/down and rolling port/stb' with no in put at all even went to a logitech profile site and download a profile and tried that to no avil looks like i've been suckerd with this one so any of you's out there contemplating buying one of these please have second thoughts , if anyone has same stick and have a fix or tips please post otherwise this pile of crap is trashed .

Thankfully i still have my trusty m/s sidewinder have had for four years trimmed right down to virtul hands off oh' what a dream .

Thanks .

Yup. It's a piece of crap. I'm not happy with mine. It's very erratic.

For some odd reason it seems to suck less with AEP, but without manually recalibrating with TweakX (or whatever it's called,) before starting FB-AEP, one never knows what the range of the stick will be.

I've had my Logitech Wingman Force 3D for a few years now and aside from having to lubricate the twist pot a few times it has never given me any problems.
If you could list you problems in a format that doesn't make my head hurt I can try and see if I know how to fix them.

oooh http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif

I had one (gonne take it apart soon) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Wingman Strike Force 3D FFB stick - and YES it realy s*cks!
The only thing that helped me to control the erratic center behaviour of the stick was to put the first (left) two sliders to zero and then fluently (curve) the rest up.
Do that for all three axis in the input section under hardware in-game. Check the red and green markers left on screen to see how the plane will react to the stick...
Dont forget to calibrate first though http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I'm now flying with Saitek X45 + (yes plus) Saitek cyborg evo and got infinately more control http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
