from their web site

9.2. Planeset
The planeset will be chosen by both teams out of a pool of 32 airplanes. The team that schedules the match on http://il2liga.jgzbv.de is generates also the planeset on the same hompage and publishes it to the opponent.

Every team rules 2 planes out of the planeset.
The remaining airplane will be flown by both teams.

i see alot of arguement potential there.

The current rules are not online yet.
But be sure we changed a lot.

Anyway it worked fine in the Opening Cup.

Does anybody want to bet whether the dogfights (actually they should call them engagements) will be long- or short-winded affairs ?

I'm guessing they won't last very long in most cases. I have read that one fellow interested in participating (Flying Finn) usually has a hit rate of around 20%, and he's probably not the only sharpshooter among the contestants.

Okay so recently he's been off form but since he's recoverd from ebola, and back to fighting weight, that 20% should go back up to normal again.
