Could someone from UBISOFT please announce or communicate when the servers that NEED to be up to play their games on the PC will be fixed?

Been down since yesterday and there hasn't been a single communication about the reason for the outage. The community's understanding since March has been that UBISOFT has taken steps in their DRM so that this would not happen in the future. But now you have a ton of users that cannot play the game they paid for because of your copy protection.

This has now been confirmed by multiple users calling support and being told that they "think the folks upstairs know".

I don't think they are going to fix it. Sorry to break it to you. The other problem, not the outages.

Thank you. You may want to also check these threads:

Hopefully you don't mind that I got a little Nerdragey, but no one has responded in the tech support forums about this.

Dear Ubisoft Support

How about letting us know what is wrong and when we can expect a fix. "We are checking on this for you." isn't sufficient. Just assume that we're intellegent people and respond as such. And if you sense a bit of sarcasm, understand the dearth of information flowing from Ubisoft is a bit frustrating.

I'm still unable to start the game, something about network connection. Any ETA on getting this fixed?

im unable to play too. been trying since yesterday evening. it says "establishing network connection. please wait" and it just stays there. Sorry ubisoft i LOVE your games, but the DRM was a dumb move. please let me play my game.

There are now three massive threads in the tech forums about this.

Funny thing. NOT A SINGLE COMMENT from UBISOFT.

I paid for a game on Thursday. It's Saturday. I can't play it because of your insane copy protection. No fault of mine. I paid my money and you handed me a fake piece of software. From a legal perspective, that's fraud.

I have updated the threads in the support forum, which is where these types of threads should be.

So accept my apology about missing this one http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

At present the issue is affecting the US, it would appear, So while others can play, your server appears to be having problems.

Can I remind everyone to start /update /open a support ticket with Ubisoft Support - this will allow them to see the amount of people affected.

I will update the threads in the suport forum, when I get any news - as will BlackWidow, should I not be working.

Thought I'd start pointing folks to where people are giving general location information:
