FINALLY i'll actually have allied aircraft in my sim room. seems that all teh wal-marts, and toys -r-us' i go to..they only have the same 1 or 2 109s anywhere.

drumroll-- badcat aviation online. the misses sez "keep it under a hundred".. lucky me..bad cat aviation was having a memorial day sale..WOOT! i get two! well, they were very limited to what was on sale in the 1:18 scale dept..but finally my collection has gone allied! (my friends were starting to "http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif" as to "notice he ONLY has german A/C in his room" not for politcal reasons i assure them..but i see thier point :P

ordered both "cripes ah mighty" and "hurry home honey" P-51's by BBI. look pretty good..cant wait!

so far im happy with the construction/livery of the 21st CENTURY toys in 1:18...im sure BBI will be just as comperable. course ill post pics when they get in http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif

Apparently so.

"G, for Germany!"

I noticed that the swastikas on the German WW2 aircraft are censored. Are these things made in Europe?

They have historical decals for $4.00. I went with this instead. http://www.bare-metal.com/decals/decal_paper.html

its not because they are made in Europe, but are sold there.. since it IS illegal to have the swastika displayed in Germany, its easier for the toy manufacturer to not have them at all.
