View Full Version : What versions of Pacific Fighters, IL2 and Lock on are in "the Ultimate Flight Collec

Hi, all! The box (which I have not yet opened except for the cover) for "the Ultimate Flight Collection" does not indicate any version number of any game, does not refer to AEP or FB nor indicate whether the games are merged or are stand-alone. The spec for hard drive space is 3.5 GB.After hours of reading the forums, both general and game-specific,( great sportsmanship, helpful info and the willingness to give it,humour and respect noted!), I find no reference to this title. What I really want to know is whether this game is worth keeping ($18.93 CDN) because I would like to be able to take advantage of all the latest features and adds I have read about regarding these games rather than have a version that can't be brought up-to-date.Would be frustrating to know what it could be like, no?I checked the Ubisoft site as well---no listing.Since the box is not opened, I can still return it for someone who would want that version. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks. Strider1

If lock on is in it it is not the full version pack of this game...

This is the version of this game you are after

http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/866127/IL2_Complete_Edi...ighters/Product.html (http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/866127/IL2_Complete_Edition_IL2_Sturmovik_Forgotten_Battl es_+_Ace_Expasion_Pack_+_Pacific_Fighters/Product.html)

It was not officially imported into the USA but sold in Europe, it can be had from an importer into the US, forget there name....

this version has all 3 of the games in the later trilogy and has the patches up to 4.04M included in one easy install............. all their is at the moment is a pay to download add on that can go over it and that has the PE2 in it......... taking it to 4.05M... there will be a couple more downloadable add ons that will come out, these will need 5.05 to be installed.

hope that helps, if you have probs getting it PM me and I will see if we can work something out, or try Ebay http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Just checked it

That has the very first version of IL2 in it which to be honest is NOT upgradeable to anything.

It Does NOT have Forgotten Battles, It does Not have AEP .... so you would need to buy them to really fly online against many players.., Lock on whilst being very good is a Modern Jet Sim..........

if you kept it you would need this to get these
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00018RR6G/qid=1152832...es&v=glance&n=468642 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00018RR6G/qid=1152832658/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-3692925-7780926?s=videogames&v=glance&n=468642)
