Has anyone else not had ANY duds at all? So far I have fired off my 3 or 4 dozen torpedoes and all of them (or at least the ones that hit) went off without a hitch. So what gives? Its early war...more than half of those should have been duds.

...and YES I have dud torps turned on. I have played this game before...I know what I am doing.

What the hell? I know this sounds weird...but I want duds too!

I've had torpedoes that stop and freeze randomly, sometimes. But that's a glitch. I turned dud torpedoes off on the realism settings.

Once, out of 5 torps only one actually moved somewhere, 4 sunk right after the launch, not going anywhere... well, 2 went down, and one just remained still - the sub actually moved through it...

I have had I think 3 prematures go off and I had dozens that left the Torpedo tubes and went straight to the bottom.

BUt I have never had one not explode on impact though.

I have even had 2-3 of them with the wrong Depth and go under the ship. Which was another problem with the torps in those days.

This will be fixed with the next patch and has already been fixed via a mod from one of the devs if you really need them spinning. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I've yet to have a dud here too.
Closest I've been is torps passing below an enemy ship, with magnetic detonation on, not blowing up.
So it MIGHT be that magnetic detonation works as intended, but actual impact always fires.
