How is it off topic...it IS the topic....

Anyway I'm sure there are games that have in-depth sword fighting...but I don't know of any, and honestly I'm sure they aren't good since I haven't heard of any.

Yeah I don't know of many, maybe that one for the wii called red steel or something.

And don't listen to Ryukoken, he has to be an *** in most of the threads, look through some and you'll see. Mods have already said you can talk about other games on this forum.

ryukoken why do you care if people stray off topic your allowed to talk about other things, theres nothing new to talk about and anyways other than having to see the post would saying something off topic be that much of a problem that you have to complain about every off topic discussion

Stay away from red Steel it's a terrible game umm other than that nothing that i can think of...

it looks like i got ryukoken a little angry. he he

but thanks for the suggestions i just thought there should be at least one out there. it seems like a good idea and im not a programmer or anything but other than getting the concept of the controls down it doesnt seem like it would be a game out of reach to make.

all the games with swords are button mashers or combo games you never really go in-depth with it...

Ninja Gaiden is always good though all the swords are unique to use and definately fun to figure out what kind of style you'd like to play with as far as how the swords are used but it is still just a combo game http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

there really isnt any good sword fighting games....
Ninja gaiden is ok but hard as hell even on easy.
the only one that comes close after that would be the soul caliber series. (most of them are fighting with some sort of sword and the weapons are changable)

yea but soul caliber kinda sucks too http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif i'm a big fan of soul caliber two (got 1000 wins on conequest mode on the arcade machine http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif) but it's a generic fighting game no real feel to the swords at all

do you know at least if there are any games that are realistic in the way that the moves would be possible to do in real life (you wouldnt have magical powers or jump twenty feet high or anything) and even fighting two or three guys would be tough

No I'm dying for a game like that too but there isn't any that i can honestly think of that isn't completely terrible http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif this game looks promising though in that area http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif
