From some schematics for modelers that I just looked at, they place the revi 16b in a FW190-A8 exactly in the center, a bit left from where it is now in the in-game normal view.(on the sight view it appears to be centered)

The centering reference is the mechanical sight of the revi 16b. (It consists of two sights, one mechanical and one optical)

I tried to find something more than schematiks, but couldnāĀ“t find any photograph to acertain this claim.

Actually not much for gameplay, but for cockpit accuracy.

It would make a huge difference if you could aim from the view which is now the normal cockpit view instead of having to turn into that "gunsight view" which is really buggered...

Find a Maru Mechanic for the 109 series, on sale on ebay every few weeks. I bet that would have a diagram showing the frigging mounting holes somewhere within its pages!!!

I reread my post, and maybe there is something not quite clear...

The optical sight is correctly positioned to the right, but somehow more than it should.

The ideal reference is the mechanical sight that must be centered, and is part of the Revi sight itself.

Actually something is odd with the way we see through the revi sight...

Actually tracers must not go all there way paralel to the center, but must go from left to right and cross it at the set harmonization distance.

This is not so with mechanichal sight. The tracer have to go paralel with it.

Still I wished some more info, and a dismounted U$200 revi 16b sight will be of no use anyway... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I need it right in its place! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
