I've heard that the trim delay was taken out of the patch. While some didn't like the delay, it was a useful compromise because the alternative was that some people would use trim on a slider to execute impossibly tight turns known as 'bat turns' because it was like Batman in his Batmobile shooting his hook into the side of a wall to execute an incredible turn his car couldn't have done without the hook to pull him around the turn.

Now that the trim delay feature has been removed, does this mean Bat turns are back?

Because I'd rather we lived with the compromise. It really wasn't a big deal once you got used to it. The alternative is planes flying around in a ridiculously unrealistic manner that takes all the joy and immersiveness out of this flight sim.

Not sure if they have been removed or not...my impression is that if they still exist...you're more likely to spin yourself out by going well above the AoA that your wing can sustain.

Trim, flight, everything is very different.
