Will the ps3 version of assasins creed have any slowdown problem?
PES 2008 is supposed to have major problems, so I was wondering whether this will be the same.
With all the NCP's(or w/e their called) on the screen at the same time is there any slow down in frame rate?

NPCs, and no, most probably. Hopefully UBI will do a few more checks than PES (which I always thought was a bit... meh, but that my opinion)

Uhmm, I own a 360, so I wouldn't know...

But most likely no. Hopefully Ubi will take care with that.

The slowdown in PES was only occuring when all players were crammed into one section of the screen.

IGN stated that this was being fixed (and is supposed to already have been) before launch.

Unless they were talking about the American version where it is non-existant and yo are talking about the PAL version, which may have been rushed.

Anyway, I doubt that it will have slowdown on the PS3 (AC, I mean).
In fact, if anything, AC (in theory) should run better on the PS3, with less possible slowdown than the 360 version.
And please don't bring up the FALSE claim by IGN, where they stated that crowd AI is better on the 360 than on the PS3.

Lol, I don't think we should worry. I am pretty confident that Ubi will fix this problem if it exists. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Just one little thing: I'm hoping you have proof that it was a false claim? Or are you another jaded fan?

I was waiting for that reply. lol

IGN quickly released another article stating that that was false information, and that they had misunderstood (or something like that) what the dev said.

It's a known thing. A few other people here know more about it than I do. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

They aren't.

But PES hasn't been released in America (I think October 28th it's coming). So you never know (even though I doubt that it's enough time) they may have fixed it. Might have been something simple.
