I went from an XBOX to a PC w/3.0P4, 1GB RAM, and a Radeon 9600XT and it's amazing how much better the graphics look on the PC version of Splinter Cell compared to the XBOX versionhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
I still don't have the net working tho so I can't play PT and RvS onlinehttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Glad you like the change. I remember when I first got into PC gaming. I never looked back since.

Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman, rise and shine.
Not that I wish to imply that you have been sleeping on the job.
No one is more deserving of a rest.
And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste, until..., well, let's just say your hour has come again.
The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.
So wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes.

Lol, you missed a few words. It goes like this.

Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman, rise and shine.
Not that I wish to imply that you have been sleeping on the job.
Or are not deserving of a rest.
No one is more deserving of a rest.
And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste, until..., well, let's just say your hour has come again.
The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.
So wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes.

Interesting. I didn't miss a thing on my version. I had just started a new game of HL2 not half an hour before I posted that (having problems with the backup vid card currently in the computer, and wanted to check things). After you posted, I went back and did it again. My opening speech is exactly what I posted. Is yours different?

Mine also says no one is more deserving of a rest

And yea, once I went to PC, my PS became real difficult to play.

Seriously, mine says Or are not deserving of a rest. Weird indeed.

It shouldn't be different for either of you guys. Someone isn't hearing it right. I've got it from STEAM and I'll check it out later to see what he says.

UPDATE: He says "no one is more deserving of a rest" in my version. Apparently KU has a few scrolls loose. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

AT LAST AJ HAS SEEN THE LIGHT! All those who put down the PC ought to be shot. If its a good one, it can be two to three times better than XBOX.

I was just playing Chaos Theory and it's kinda fun but it's better when everyone talks.
I hate it when all the sound shuts off in the game too.

Now you understand what I mean AJ voice is better on Xbox but PC gaming is fun. We will have to try this on PC together
