Was getting some work done on car today and watched some Box.......

The Mega Movers was all about recovering the P39 under the Ice, recovering a B24 off the tundra AND RAISING THE FW190 off Norway...... I looked a couple of days in advance to see when it will be repeated and noticed on Saturday about lunch time they are recovering that B25 from the lake in the US.......... so keep an eye out for both of them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Interesting read, thanks. Don't have History Channel over here though.

There were two live nukes on board. One was recovered completely. The second was missing the uranium core which has never been recovered and is presumed buried deep in the ground because it was never found after a search.

Unfortunately we don't have History Channel here. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
But your thread reminds me of a documentary on National Geographic Channel about digging up a Hurricane under the streets of London after a dogfight with a Do-17. I couldn't find the info on their website but found this site with info about it and many other excavations of WWII airplanes all over Europe.
Interesting stuff!
