I just had my first KIA.It looked like he was only wounded .It looked like a first aid cross on his profile and his pic was red. Also his endurance was still up.So how can you tell if hes dead or alive?
1.Whats the sign for WIA?
2. Whats the sign for KIA?
3.How do uoy get a medic to help ?

I've had three crewman killed so far. They turned completely red, and when I clicked on them, there was a symbol showing they died, but I can't remember what it is..

One way to know for sure that they are dead, is to surface, then right-click on them. If they are dead you will get an option to bury them at sea.

Put your medic in the same compartment as him and he'll start healing automatically- if he's still alive of course.

KIA has a black cross in their details and as said you can chuck them over the side on the surface.

WIA has a red cross and if you put the wounded chap in the same quarters as a medic he will gradually get better.

Shoot - I had my first (and so far only) casualty on my last patrol - one of my poor matrosen alone in the diesel compartment was killed in a depth charge attack - he turned red with a black cross on a bandaid or something like that, and he didn't respond to the medic's attentions http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I wanted to bury him at sea, but I couldn't figure out how to do it - I did find out that you can move the body around anywhere you want - I even tried manning the deck gun with him and then diving, hoping he would be washed overboard, but apparently the watch officer must have carried his body back down to the forward torpedo room on his way off the bridge

Next time, I'll try that right clicking thing - it should help reduce the stench aboard my boat http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Personally I follow the rule of US AirCav... "We all come back: Alive... or Dead, we all come back".

Ah there is an undocumented skill available, taxidermy http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Smell problem removed, plus after stuffing he can act as a handy coathook or gunnery decoy.

LMAO....I think a gunnery decoy is a great idea! That's true effieciency! Waste not, want not.

Sick, cruel, but still funny

Surely, you must have noticed that there's a rack of meat hanging in the back of the command room... it gets eaten up as the patrol gets longer... but just when the crew has eaten all of the food on board, another rack of meat mysteriously appears, at the same time one of your crewmen goes missing...

"We have a little Uter in all of us," I think is the Simpsons quote...

(I am kind of tired. This is funny to me now, maybe not so much when I am awake. If rumors of Nazi cannibals offend you, I am sorry... )

If this is right we have cannibals at UBI

Chief: Where's Dietrich Geissler?
Me: heh... don't worry, I think old Dietrich's very close by... *pats stomach*
After all... isn't there a little Dietrich in all of us?
As a matter of fact, you could say that when all the food was expended, I went and killed our weapons officer... and he's in our stomachs right now! hahhahah... wait, scratch that last one.

well, I didn't do the free camera thing but I did look for him on the flak gun and at the lookout positions when I put his body there and did not see him http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
