http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/MB_Avro/2006-08-07173.jpg I saw the Meteor flying at the Richmond Airshow ( just outside Sydney) a couple of weeks ago. Apparently its the only one flying, anywhere..pretty cool it was too.

Thanks for sharing . Your a lucky man. Shoot , I would have went just for the Meteor & Boomerang. I don't have either in my personal 'took em myself" collection....someday.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

If I'm not mistaken, the Boomerang and the Meteor are the ones at Temora. If that's the case, they both fly. I've seen the Boomerang in the air, but not the Meteor.

I think the crated-up Spit in the first pic is Temora's new Spit Mk XVI, soon to be flyable. Temora has the most amazing flying museum. From memory it includes a Spit VIII, a Boomerang, a Canberra bomber (loud!!!), and the Meteor in that other shot, and quite a few others. Wicked stuff.

cheers,
Ratsack
