View Full Version : Do I need to go to Rome to get "Show Your Colors" achievment?

I've finished the game and I am going back to collect all the feathers and get the Auditore cape, but since you can't replay missions(inexcusable in my opinion), I'm not going to be able to go to Rome.

My question is am I screwed as far as the "Show Your Colors" achievment is concerned?

I don't want to have to replay the game focusing on the grind of collecting feathers, so I can get the Auditore cape before the Rome mission just to get 10 more on my gamerscore.

If anybody knows the answer to this I would be very grateful.

Unfortunately, you do have to wear it in Rome to get the achievement http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Don't forget it needs to be worn in the mountains area too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

EDIT: I'm a liar. You don't have to.

Hi Smurphftw. To clarify you do not have to wear the cape in Rome to get the achievement. You must wear it in all the cities and the mountains to unlock this achievement. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Good to know.

Additionally - I haven't checked yet, but aren't we supposed be able to revisit all the sequences including assassinating Borgia in Rome?

I read somewhere online that you had to go to Rome too but I'm happy to hear that you do not. I will keep hunting down feathers then http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Oh and M3rcer unfortunately you can't replay individual missions, which is super lame.

Pretty sure Rome doesnt count.

Just dont forget to go to the mountains, as people are confused as they dont see it as being a 'city' so they leave it out, then wonder why they havent got the achievement yet.

Yes you can. go to the pause menu and select DNA, then find the mission and press A.

I tried this immediately after first beating the game, and it didn't work for me.

There's a petition in these forums for this very capability. I'm pretty sure you can only replay the "tomb raiding" parts of the game (ie--Templar/Assassin tomb sections), though I haven't experienced even that firsthand.

I'm currently playing through the game again on a different profile, just to see if I can unlock all the achievements in one run-through of the game. I'm at the start of sequence 14 and haven't gone to Rome yet, but managed to unlock Show Your Colours, so I can definitively say you only need to wear it in Florence, Tuscany/San Gimignano, Monterigginio/Villa, Romagna/Forlė, Venice and the Mountains.
