I dont know how many of you use X Plane, but I recently picked it up and I really like it, here is one of the random failures, it appears an engine fell off taking my right main gear with it. It was an interesting landing to say the least.

Todays flight was going really smooth, except for some thunderstorms I climbed through and over, everything was going great till I LOST an engine and my right main landing gear.

Incase anyone is wondering how this ended, I decided to do a wheels up landing and landed as gently as possible and skidded to a stop.

Oh yeah, I had to do a quick descent, this happened at FL280

So what are the NTSB's initial findings? Someone's going to lose a pay grade over this one that's for sure.

The one thing I liked in Xplane 6 over FS2002 was the thunder storms.

Is it true you can build your own planes in XPlane and it calculates everything for you to fly it?

If thats true i would but it.

Ive never had the patience to get Xplane, there is too much to it.

yes you can design your own planes, but I dont know about the calculations part. I have never designed a plane in X Plane.

When I figure out how to modify them, I will have one powerful King Air...
