View Full Version : Whose the brotherhood?

I'm getting a lot of different views on this, but who exactly is the "Brotherhood" mentioned in the new game?

A lot of people are saying its the Assassins, however the Templars were the first to call themselves the Brotherhood in terms of in-game (see Alan Rikkin's email in ACI).

right now it's pretty much the Templars since it mostly focuses on the Templars sending their people in an Animus to learn the assassin ways. But one other theory is that it could ALSO mean the assassin since they are the ones being learnt from and their brotherhood breached. It's really just theories right now

It's the Assassin order you will establish in Rome I think.

"Live and breathe as Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, in his enduring struggle against the powerful Templar Order. He must journey into Italyís greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy. Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as [B]Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood who will rally to his side.[B] Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies and prevent the extinction of their Order. And for the first time, introducing a never-before-seen multiplayer layer that allows you to choose from a wide range of Assassin characters, each with their own unique weapons and assassination techniques, and match your skills against other Assassins from around the world. Itís time to join the Brotherhood."

Sounds like assassins to me.

It's Templars reliving the assassins so as to learn their moves and tricks. That's how mp was explained too
