Had a question, anyone know if there will be any kind of a multiplayer versus mode in Splinter Cell Conviction like in Double Agent and Chaos Theory? I quiet enjoyed the versus in chaos theory, all though it was very challenging, I felt that the multiplayer in Double Agent rather sucked.

Was just wondering if anyone knows if they plan on a versus mode/knows any information about it.

P.S. Just wanted to say a thanks to the Splinter Cell team, all of your splinter cell games single player have had an excellent story line and single player experience, I am looking forward to Convictions!

There spy vs spy? That sounds very challenging, and chaotic, you have any links or anything about it? Or just a link from where you heard it from.

Thanks

Just to explain because I suspect Aveelo's first language isn't English (even though his Gamertag says he's from Britian)

It has been confirmed that there will be one versus mode in the game that is knows as SvS. It is exactly the same as the co-op mode with the same mechanics/controls/features, but will have one spy trying to kill the other spy with a bunch of NPC AI in the level that are there to 'mix things up'

That's all that Ubisoft has said on the matter and we haven't seen any footage as of yet.

Thanks for the information, sounds a bit cooler, cause of the mixed in AI, otherwise it would be quiet a challenge.

I'm sorry, but this guy's gotta be pulling our leg! He clearly knows the series, having played MP in CT and DA...so how can he be unaware of recent transpirings concering Convcition MP when it is plastered all over this forum, wiki, ign, print media, etc.....

I've played Mass Effect and I didn't pay an ounce of attention to the Mass Effect 2 news.

Don't assume so much.

MASS EFFECT 1 and 2 are single-player games...and I sure you didn't ask whether or not ME2 has a single-player mode.

I'm also sure you DID pay attention to the news of the game...unless you're one to go out and spend $60 bucks with no worries. Seriously, you didn't read a single preview? Visit a single site? Did you bother to flip over the box when you bought it???

Not a single one. Brought it straight home and popped it in. Now quit making baseless accusations.

Of course you're right, they are baseless. Who am I to assume that you visit websites, forums, and read gaming news.

I apologize.

You have spirit. I'm going to name you "The Snarky One."

I was actually telling you to stop making baseless accusations toward Isanator. Remember, little soldier. When you assume, it makes an *** out of "u" and "me."

I seem to be missing either a set of rules or a popular culture reference in this game of ours. Oh well.

Ignore him.. He likes to take shots at people by finding faults that have nothing to do with the actual discussion.. It seems like it gets him off - Like he feels he needs to 1UP everybody.. Trust me - Ignore him

Hey, I take offense to that generalization...

While I have on occasion taken to identifying the lack of knowledge on the part of certain forum contributors, I have mostly provided my honest and sincere opinion concerning the UbiSoft video game "Splinter Cell: Conviction" in regards to all currently available information.

Also, interracial midget porn is what really does it for me...not pwning you fools! HOLLA!

I like to one up people too. I remember feeding DBZ his lunch. And listening to James rant about how he loved the fact that Versus was gone because he people made him go merc sometimes. What a Harvard scholar HE was.
