View Full Version : Refly all the time???

Hey all, Still new here, but I have to ask this. When I'm flying a mission in campaign mode, if for some reason I get shot up and have to bail, I ALWAYS have to refly the mission.

I just did a p40 mission with incoming Betty's. Take off, manage a kill on a Zero, climb up and get one Betty, then got pasted by his wingman... went ahead and bailed as I had no Elevator. On the way down, I ended up landing just off the end of the runway, and in fact, he was running onto the runway before he did the " Pilot face plant" move. So I ended up landing on my own runway, but yet I have to relfy... Why???

Thanks all... So far I'd loving this Simulator...Looking into the trackir set...

you probably either didnt hit all the waypoints or complete the mission paramiters. If you want you can turn on instant success then it doesnt matter! Dont quote me tho , cause i could be wrong!

... Just a thought, but at the end of each campaign mission (if I remember this correctly) when you receive your after-action briefing there should be two choices: "Refly" or "Accept." Refly is in case you want to try the mission for a better score or if you are killed or captured. "Accept" saves your progress in the campaign and advances you to the next mission.

Additionally, using "instant success" might also solve your problem. This option allows you to advance to the next mission regardless of how you flew the current mission (unless you were killed or captured). You can even end the mission on the runway without ever starting your engine if you wish, and you're still eligible to go on to the next mission.

Uncheck this, problem solved.
