Hi all

My mother is a pen pal to a Korean War veteran, who's actually detained in a Correction institute in Florida. For renegotiation his lawyer and my mother are searching for infos about the unit he served with in Korea from Aug.5th 1950 - July 1951 with the "Company B23 infants" <-- have no better details til yet.

Do you know any sites or forums which are related to US-Korea vets?? Thanks in advantage for help.

Um there are no listings for the 23rd infantry but there is for the 32nd. I did a google search and found lots of places with Korean war units

http://www.theforgottenvictory.org/old/unithist.htm#32nd%20Infantry%20Regiment

http://www.google.com/search?q=korean+war+units&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&start=10&sa=N

Hope that helps

I've gone through some extensive searching on Copernic which utilizes 16 search engines (no Google). I could not find any "Company B23 infants".

Its probably Company B, 23rd Infantry. Contact someone with the DOD (department of defense) as the battle history of units are for the most part public domain. I'd be surprised if they did not have a webpage somewhere for the vets to get together.

23rd Infantry was part of the 2ID in Korea.
