View Full Version : Saitek Pedals w/CH Hotas?

Anyone using this combo?

Thoughts on the Saitek pedals vs. the CH?

I am currently using the CH stuff, but may be ready to swap out my pedals.

Will the Saiteks have compatibility issues with the CH gear?

I've used a mix of CH and Saitek products for years with no problems.

Kinda worried if swapping the Saitek pedals will mess with the controller assignments.

I really hate re-entering control/key bindings.

As long as you only swap out the peddles and leave the CH STICK and THROTTLE in the USB ports you should only have to reassign the Saitek peddles.

If you're using CH script then you might have a problem, but I'm not sure on that account. I just assign through the IL2 control panel.

I started this (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/4631098106) thread just a couple of days ago if it helps...

They are compatible without issue. If you assign your controls all through the IL2 interface then you may need to reassign the inputs as they require the controller ID number to remain static and changing one may change them all.

Using the Control Manager software eliminates that though...but not for your Saitek pedals of course.

For editing and scanning purposes I remove my HOTAS from their USB connections regularly. As long as I place the stick/throttle/rudder peddle in the SAME USB port they came out of they always remain the same input assignment in IL2.
