View Full Version : Flyable Bachem Ba349 Natter Rocket Interceptor, work in progress.

My first homemade flyable model for FS9 has been the Natter rocket interceptor:

This would be a great addition to IL2 as vertical launches don't really work in other games, although I've never tried Orbiter.

My modelling skills aren't too great, and I've had no experience skinning/painting 3D models. Perhaps someone else would like to have a go.

This aircraft should have been in the 1946 expansion. A much better choice than the Lerche. At least The Natter was declared operational.

I had no idea that WOV already had a flyable Natter - I could have saved myself a lot of time and effort http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I've been playing around with a Convair Pogo (if you have FS2004 look out for pogo.zip at FlightSim), seems there is a clever XML trick to make these VTOL machines work.
