I hope you don't think you'll escape such video content on the internet.

I saw a HUMAN beheading once on the net. That sound will stay with me forever.

Caa Caa is caa caa no matter where you get it, raaid.

nope im not cirrus

i dont know i think now you have so much media on the net you can stay away from tv

and on tv you are zapping and there you go piles of bodies

on the net you stay away from holocaust stuff and there you go

i just get disney stuff new age documentals i can chose to stay away from ugly stuff unlike tv

for example coming to this forum im garanteed to stay away from ugly stuff

sometimes censorship seems good of course if there are still free sites but is your risk to deepen into human nature, you might see ugly stuff myself i prefer to just being allowed acces to kids stuff

im getting 6 gigas on dysney comics whom by the way was a spaniard whom mother emigrated to chicago for walt being a bastard

i love those comics time travel, mu, atlantis, mind reading, alien ducks, masons

See what's on first....then choose that channel.

(assuming you mean the Hooked on a Feeling vid I tripped over while parusing google film clips.)

Actually I find the comments left by a lot of viewers of online video clips to be more disturbing than most of what I see on TV or on the net.

if you have web access you have access to most US cable TV providers (and in Europe as well) guides on upcoming broadcasts with brief descriptions so it is easy to avoid things you don't want to see. TV guides are neither new nor high tech ways to avoid seeing what you don't want.

Flocking to the Internet for safety from unpleasent images on TV is like running into a burning building to get away from a match.

Well I bought a TV with a wonderful option. It is called a channel changer. If I don't like what is on... I can change the channel to something I do like.

Give that a try. You do not have to watch something just because it is on. If there isn't anything worth watching, pick up a book and read it. You might actually learn something in the process.

i disagree everybody does zapping, and there you go you are caught into something horrible, at leats 1 second

instead with the net theres no zapping, the problem is that interesting contents are illegal, but to think that is illegal that a guy scans a disney awesome comics so everybody has acces to it with the so much work it takes and the 0 profit he gets is at least curious, in this world doing some good things like giving kids more options that porn and violence is illegal

Wrong....not everyone "zaps". As a matter of fact, nobody in my family "zaps". Scrolling through the "guide" is much more informative and far quicker.

Agreed. If you think the internet is safer than TV, think again! TV pales in comparison to the net if you`re not careful.

Also, get a TV magazine, check teletext. Find out what`s likely to be on. check what`s on TV so you know what to avoid. Or just keep the TV off and play games or do a hobby. By the way, everyone should see the halocaust images at least ONCE in their life to fully understand what would have happened if the Nazis won the war.

I fine it a little sad that you need control from yourself `zapping` the tv channels. Viewing ONE second ruins your whole day?

Real life can be a lot nastier, be glad TV has some regulation, because the internet has none.

which is actually what makes the internets kewl...they don't treat you like a 5 year old...i realize TV is very different in the UK, but in the States it's a flippin' train-wreck...we actually had a national debate about janet jackson's tits like it was the end of the world. Unless you have premium cable it's best not to try to even watch a modern film because the censors will turn it into incomprehensible garbage

What do you have tuned in your TV? Psycho TV?Charlie Manson Channel?

For I use to zap a lot, and I don't see so many 'piles of bodies'.

And if see them, believe me, I'm not yet that disturbed. Just sorrowful. Unfortunately, 'piles of bodies' is a common sight in many areas of the world. Not watching won't make them disappear.

And if you think that the net will spare you from that cr*p... believe me, the net is 1000 times worse.

you dont get this on tv:

http://video.google.es/videoplay?docid=3249714675910247150

is a record video 0n 9-11

on tv you are forced to watch crab because all channels belong to the same guys, on the net you are free to choose what to watch, a behading... then i just wont press play

on tv a family show: to a guy whos helping giving birth a woman"dont pull babys head too much or youll chop it off"

it would take me a million years think of something so horrible

Once I found a video on Iraq, a collection of stuff from a helmet cam. These US blokes were patrolling a street, and there was just this head on the ground. Thats it. Pretty disturbing. I've also seen a video of an Iraqi get mowed down by a SAW just before firing an RPG, it's wierd to see someone die and their final seconds. Games make it seem so nonchalant.

its great google video, thanks, some guncam:

http://video.google.es/videosearch?q=guncam

that part on 9-11 where the buildings collapse you see explosions way under the wave of collapse, they dont show that on tv but you can see it on the net

i dont believe it 100% but makes me suspicious and what i meant is the freedom that this info implies

yesterday on my commitment not to watch more tv i was weak and turned on the tv because my niece was on the comp watching cartoons, simsons were on i said great, is even a new episode i told my niece to come

first 10 seconds frinks father took the heart of a guy through the mouth, then he took anothers guy column my niece asked me what was that i said a belt, she said oh i thought it was his column, i said well maybe im wrong

when the things seem to have calmed he started breaking skulls and taking brains

as i turned off the tv and told my niece to come back to the comp i was wondering why marge didnt appear saying that that was nasty and why matt groening had sold his soul with the new episodes just as mike judge the creator of beavis and ******** with the king of the hill

im a sensitive person and so far ive been able to keep away from violence better on the net that with tv

of course i just go to disney links, science fiction and alternative, no war or news

btw i dont believe 911 was caused by bush, i like the guy and i cant understand why

but i dont believe either osama did it

i believe its an eternal time war manifested in evry single aspect of life

a side wants unity the other wants infinity

one wants to turn us into animals(cells) the other into gods

we are choosing sides all time by being good or bad

the worse you became the less you can affect the world with your choices(more animal less free will), the better the more your decisions will affect the world

in other words a good person lives in more paralel times than a worse, has more info

jesus i dont know where i get this stuff from, i supose its the way id like the world to be, maybe i should write a book, some people like reading me here i think
