View Full Version : Aces' Artwork: Computer woes

Hi all,

Last weekend the PC on which I do all my development work for IL2-MAT Manager "died". As far as I can see it's a power supply failure and I've ordered a replacement PSU. I'm hoping that this will solve the problem and that no damage has been done to the motherboard or other components. So I'll not be able to continue work on the next version of the program until I have successfully resolved this problem.

Best Regards

Eeeks... I have been there mate.

I blew my power supply two years ago.
Sent a spike through my motherboard and lost my HD as well, and like an idiot, I had very little backed up http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif
I hope you dont run into the same problems as I.

All the best, and fingures crossed etc http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Cheers mate,

I hope not, I replaced the original PSU a while back then the new one developed a weird power up problem so I popped the original back in and all has been working fine for several weeks then it failed. I have backups but not of my latest work so I'll have to back podal quite a bit if it comes to the worst. Fingers crossed that it's just a case of replacing the PSU. As it died whilst I was in the middle of workong on things I'll have to see what's what.
