View Full Version : There's this crazy thing about Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

When I started Assassin's Creed II and looked at a wall, I would see a wall. Finishing ACB now I see clear free running sequences. Also things like judging distances and the length of a fall. I realised that everything was just so clear when it wouldn't be to somebody that had never played it.

Has anybody else noticed that?
I know it sounds stupid, but I'm being serious.

Don't feel stupid, it happens to everyone that plays the game. Heck, I've become a pro at judging distances to make sure I don't fumble on my free-running. It's natural, and it happens while you play. It's not a bad thing, it helps if anything else http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

this happened to me by the time I finished Assassin's Creed 1, it hasn't stopped. though I tend to think about how I'd scale buildings more than scaning for free-running routes, but I do that to.

Same. I can't watch other movies, even, without thinking, "If he would just scale that wall..." I think it's a pretty handy thing to think about -- think of all the trouble you can escape from if you just use the right hand holds!

Also, ever find yourself "blending" with a group of people? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

All the time. Also benches, can't resist them.

Oh wait, you guys are talking about real life? I thought OP was talking about an AC game! Grrr, I feel stupid http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

Ok, taking that into consideration, I do find myself seeing free-running sequences in random areas, and sit on benches the way Altair and Ezio do. I have NOT tried blending into a group of people yet. Don't think it might end well http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Try blending in New York City. Everybody is already so bunched up blending should be easy there. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I would kill to see someone take on Altair's prayer stance and then waltz on into a church... and then scale the walls. >>

I'll let you know who to kill. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_CC2gMrLFk&feature=related) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Yea it's like how after watching so many literal trailers I can't stop puting my actions to lyrics. especialy weird when combined with my assassin compulsions.

"Walking in the street. is that a bench I see (see)?

Got to sit down, ensure there's no tail on me (me).

Who would follow me? They think me a civilian.

They don't suspect that I'm an assassin."

It gets pretty akward.

When I first got AC1, I was terrible at that stuff. After I beat it, and when I got AC2, I too was FAR better at distance judging, and even better so in Brotherhood. It really pays off in the long run, doesn't it?

yea, again I was joking. I like playing around alot, and one of the biggest qualities of comedy is one's ability to make an *** of themselves, Michael Scott is proof of that. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

OT: Interestingly enough most buildings where I live can be scaled from the outside.

I was actually talking about on the game, but yes, I find myself noticing things like that in real life. I'm glad other people do the same, I thought I was turning into a crazy addict. >_>

Oh my god, I will never stop laughing. I will have to utilize these skills in real life, while trying to avoid other people.

"No."
