Is it possible to do this (save campaign missions) - often there are some pretty cool sorties - especially the scramble-ones are a hit! - BUT I don't know if i can actually save them in some odd way. I'm sure this forum is already filled with tons of stuff on this subject. I'm just too tired to look it up http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif !

And by the way - this goes out to all my Danish Il-2-comrades: (In case there are any)

Er der en dansk online-squadron eller lignende? Hvis ikke - ku' det s ikke vre kjempe-khl at f lavet?!

mvh. Maulovitz!

At the end of the mission there is a button in the debrief screen labelled "Save Track". This will save a file you can later play back which (usually) shows the entire mission as you flew it.

Alternately there are a couple of keyboard commands in the MISC section of the controls screen (near the bottom) that are called something like "Start/Stop Quick Save" which will start/stop a recording during a mission. This records a different format file which is generally more accurate in replay but sometimes shows intermittent small errors (like some bullets missing when they hit in the original). Don't worry to much about the apparent errors as damage is also recorded and should appear as it did in the original mission.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Do you mean save them so you can play them again? Yes, you can. Go into your Sturmovik Folder then go to Missions>Campaign and then into the folder for whichever country you are playing for, say DE (Germany) for example. You will see a large amount of Notepad type files. You will need to Copy and Paste TWO files for each mission you wish to play again. You can either put them in the Mission Folder and then Rename them, say Scramble Mission, or you can create a new folder as set out in Flying Nutcases Mission Building Guide. If you put them in the Mission Folder you will be able to access them through FMB. If you create a folder you will be able to access them through Single Missions.

The last two files in your Campaign>DE folder are the NEXT mission in your campaign, so if you liked the LAST mission you flew then you should Copy and Paste the third last and fourth last Notepad files. I'll find a link to the FMB guide and post back soon.

Heres a link to the guide

I always just put the files into the Mission folder and then access them through Full Mission Builder but the way described in the link is more tidy. BTW, in your Campaign>DE folder the missions have numbers, not names. So be sure to copy and paste two files with the SAME number.
