Who like flying with the Me-110 against bombers?

I just wanted to know how many of you enjoy flying the Me-110 loaded with WfGr.21 rockets to attack enemy bomber formations.

I like this plane very much as a bomber attacker.

Set up a mission where you are flying the Me-110 equipped with WfGr.21 rockets and have one group of Fw190 with some extra canons and flight of escorting Me-109 assigned to you.

Then go against some US bombers and their escort and release the rockets into the enemy bomber formation to break it up.

If you hit well, you can down one or two bombers or at least damage one or two so that they have to leave the formation. You and the Fw-190 then can attack them while the Me-109 take care of the enemy fighters.

Is really a good way to fight bombers and I enjoy flying the Me-110 with it's heavy weapons. It's quiet fast and you can bring down easily two or three bombers with it.

i absolutlly love the 110, when it was eqiped with radar it was a very well suited bomber destroyer but i prefer it in the ground attack role its mixed machine gun armament makes it so easy to aim & destroy truck convoys, the only thing i dont like is the bk 37mm gun i can nerver get a direct hit with that thing lol

Yes, as a ground attack plane it's quiet effective too.

In the role it has first - as an attacker against enemy fighters - it wasn't succesful at all. They were decimated during the Battle of Britain by the Hurricans and Spitfires and had to be taken out of the battle - as the Stuka.

But as a ground attack aircraft in the Balkan and against the Russians and later as a Night fighter and bomber attacker it was a really good and reliable plane.

I love to fly it and would like to see an online group of Me-110 fliers - as soon as I have my new PC.
