The result of a hard days work, tell me what you think http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Did Luftwaffe pilots customize their jackets, like US bomber pilots did?

Tatzelwurm (or Tatzelwürmchen for the smaller version http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif )

Looks nice.

AFAIK German pilots didn't modify their uniform. Wearing a Uniform was an important part of the Nazi-Propaganda and part of their doctrine. Even if they wanted, I guess nobody dared to an extend the US-Pilots and crewmen did.

(The Tatzelwurm is a smaller (lesser) Dragon. It usually is shown with 2 arms. JFYI. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif )

I read that a former Eagle squadron pilots had to go through hoops to get permission to put their RAF wings on US uniforms.

I suppose that's a bit different to putting mascots and stuff though.

Nice one U-731, you should do the 9.JG54 badge http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
