It is amazing to see all the posts incorrectly associating the improved sinking of ships to GW.

The improved sinking of ships was done by NYGM for the NYGM Tonnage War Mod and was 'used' by GW to well.....

NYGM Leaders not followers

Some excellent work Teddy Bar. The Realism of the NYGM tonnage war mod is excellent.

So you mean..

After SH3 ...
You've lead the way in ship sinking with NYGM,
that is after SH3 came out.. or before it came out.

I went to a different 'Dale Carnegie' course.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

It makes the Torpedo per Target Allocation from the Uboat Commanders Handbook neccessary, and not just a personal rule to improve realism. Great job!

I'm also enjoying the drastically different sinkings. Nothing is predictable as before. I really enjoy the uncertainty that was lacking before. My first sinking or two went as before, hit a vital spot and snapped them in two, but then several more attacks resulted in different results. One cruiser took two fish and did not sink, whereas before I could sink a cruiser with one well aimed shot. Coming home with a more believable tonnage score, comparable to real U-boat skippers is more enjoyable. I have to earn that tonnage now.

Yes, but not every shot is going to be "one well placed."

Excellent work Teddy Bar, I am really enjoying the NYGM TW mod. The sinkings are very true to life, and I enjoy having to compute the speed for each contact, and not just know that it is 7 kts.
Again, good work, looking forward to your future releases!
