Open the TiR application and check which profile you have assigned to IL2. Then double click (or edit) on that profile. Either verify or set the hotkey for pause, center and precision. You should be good to go after that. Enjoy the new addition, you will soon be addicted after you get used to it. Good luck!

The TIR Software has a built-in provision for turning it off...

Open the software, go to Profiles tab, edit yer default/current profile, goto Hotkeys, assign a key to 'Pause' and there ya go!

Take care not to use a key you've assigned in-game...

On the other hand: Why would you want to disable tracking anyways? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif

Thanks guys... The only reason to disable it that I can see so far is, I like to go look at my recorings right after the mission, and I like the f2 view! the other reason, I keep forgetting to turn it on before loading the game! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Sure, I like to use the F2 view too...
but controlling that can be done via TIR too, can't it?

Ah, okay, it might lead to having to look lots of left or right akwardly, I see now... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif

I see now that f9 dose work, I was thinking it would turn it off and on, it just pauses it.

I guess I'm just going to have to train myself to remember to turn it on before I load the game. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Thanks again!

Yes. Pausing it works just fine and allows you to use your mouse for view control. I usually pause mine when I bail out and wish to look around and also when watching tracks.

Yes. There have been many times I've either forgotten to load my CH controller profile OR start TIR and have had to exit to do so.

Only a minor inconvenience if you forget though so, no worries.
