how does one stop the written text appearing when somone is speaking on the radio (offline that is)

Hi muchaclopiec,
Go into your IL2 directory, find your "conf" file open it with note pad or its equivelant. Then scroll down to "subtitles" and change the value to read, subtitles=1

look in the config.ini file or in difficulty settings. It's there somewhere - was years ago so cannot remember http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I recommend that you still learn a bit about the config file. Look at the config guide@ M4T (http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&cat=7)
