That's the south-east of England for you. I grew up there and know exactly what he's on about. I've also flown about in it hoping that Manston is somewhere below as well, though not in quite the murk that he got stuck in.

Great book.
Cheers!

I know just how you feel€¦ http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif He€s a good story teller, and with a pinch of imagination your made very aware of just how dangerous and frightning his world was... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

I second that Dunkelgrun, really fantastic looking down on the country that you have grown up in, and point out things that you knew only from the ground. Great read mate thanks for posting, i spose ill go and buy that now then, uv twisted my arm into it lol.

Great stuff...I was sweating sitting there reading it!!!
I was in an old C152 last week, trying to get back to Stoughton airport through a bit of clag, gripping... but I had the advantage of more modern navigation systems and an instructor sitting beside me...I can only imagine how tense old Geoff must have been...

Regards...Dave S.

Just about made me late for work reading this this morning. Good to think about when I'm whining about some foggy campaign mission.
Cheers.
