Check out the prices on the option packages. For a mere $350.00 above the base price you get a cushion, 2 armrests and 2 "action trays". What a deal! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Laugh all you want, I've had one for a few years now and it adds a whole new dimension to the game. It's hooked up along with my 5.1 Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 Speaker system. Not only does this setup sound great, but it lets you "feel" like your really "in" the Plane/Game. It adds A whole new dimension to flight sims. The only mod I made was to bolt the game pads in position. They're made to be adjustable , but move a round a bit too much for my liking. It would'nt be difficult to make your own, you see, the chair is just an arcade seat. You've seen tons of them in video gaming arcades. Now, if we can only findout the supplier of the basic plastic chair to the arcade companies, and add your own speakers and basic amp....

These guys have got some serious cajones; $299 for the chair and amp. Throw in another $170.00 and they'll give you a cushion.

Give'em $130.00 more and they'll give you a chair with a cushion and two arms!!

An action tray will take only another $120.00, and a second action tray costs only $100.00, taking the whole magilla up to $649.00, plus taxes and shipping.

Get some plywood, build an Akers-Barnes sim cockpit and put your rear speakers up behind the headrest & the subwoofer under your seat pointing up, and crank up the bass. It'll save you around $600.00.

cheers
