Now i dont know if this will ble completed to
304 or something, but i would like to see USN Light Carriers and IJN light carriers. F.ex Independence Class Carriers with Composite squadrons (VC), where you command both fighters and bombers if you are assigned as Squad CO.

And also Carriers Like Ryuho, Shoho, Zuiho, Junyo, Shinano (allthough she didnt take part in any actons) and Taiho Would have been a great addition to the game.

And for the US. Side The Yorktown Class Carriers (CV5-CV6-CV8) would have been nice. (Midway map without these carriers is kinda dumb) And The USS Wasp CV7 for a Guadalcanal Campaign.

What do you girls/guys think?

Now this have probably been mentioned before, but i just had to clear my thoughts..

And its not a Whine!!
Allthough the game isn't 100% finished/good or anything its still the best WW2 fligh sim i've ever played- and The Pacific Theater is by far my favourite theater, but thats a matter of taste really.

But one last question, Is Track IR3 Going to work with PF? Because a magazine called Flight Journal (GREAT magazine by the way) on the back of the last issue (German Fighters, REALLY interesting) there is an ad where it says that PF IS TrackIr Enhanced, is that true or is it Just bull?

US does have light support carriers, they're a real bugger to take off from with any type of substantial loadout.

FB/AEP/PF has always been enhanced for TIR. If you're asking about the 6DoF thing, no it's not.

i Know that the US have CVE's but that was not what i was talking about. I ment CVL's like in The independence class carriers.

As you see, that CVL is bigger than the CVE's and they were able to operate with the fast fleet aka USS. Essex class carriers.

and a Jap carrier like this

I agree with you 100% Asgeir_Strips! I'd love to see a CVL class of carrier modeled, prefferably the San Jacinto. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Although we are primarily an LW squad, we have decided to fly for the US Navy in the Pacific, and as such, we are Air Group 51, which flew off of the San Jacinto. This choice has nothing whatsoever to do with George Bush Sr, or his politics either, it's just a coincidence of numbers.
