As promised I am posting pics of my 50 cal and 30 models that I have made myself. Each bullet and case are hand turned pieces of wood and the belt is hand stitched by me also. I hope that you all enjoy them. Feel free to post any comments or remarks that you may have. I am always looking for feedback. If anyone is interested in my work please visit www.post244pa.org (http://www.post244pa.org) and scroll down to the "Crafts for Sale" section on the left of the screen.

Nice thing to have for intimidation purposes---like when a big rig is tailgate-ing.

Here is a picture of me a couple weeks ago working on a 30 cal M1919 in my workshop. You can see the one in the background and the one in the forground you can certainly tell is made from wood.

Choctaw, those stickers on the windscreen sure look like Pennsylvania's emission and state inspection stickers.

That is because I live in Pennsylvania, about 15 minutes South East of Reading. Are you a mechanic or something? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Choctaw,

yes I was a state inspection mechanic at one time, but the stickers just jumped out at me for some reason. After I was done admiring your rather handsome PENNDOT stickers, I noticed your handiwork. Nice job on the woodworking, it must have taken a nice piece of time to make the bullets.

I am a native of Pennsylvania, hence the stickers jumped out at me. I live on the Lebanon/Schuylkill County border just off of I-81.

Very nice! We always wound up making crude toy guns in wood shop class when the teacher wasn't looking. It annoyed him quite a bit. Eventually he gave up and allowed us to make one toy gun per term.

I've thought about buying an M1919A4 parts kit and a semi-auto sideplate. But the cost makes it a low priority project. I don't have money to blow on such an impractical firearm.
