Just tooting my own horn a tiny bit, but I thought it might be helpful for those looking for tips on how to attack ground targets with fighters...

I remember this guy. Did a very interesting set of tutorials. Excellent US (where is the accent from?) speaking voice which goes easy on Brit ears too.

Are you a teacher by trade, Dart, as you explain things very well and clearly.

Dart is an iconic IL-2 figure for me.
During my hard times in the beginning I always took courage from his training videos, dreaming that one day I will be able to do just like he does. (Or close enough http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif)
His "Flying for the first time" video clip is on the hard drive of every PC I uses, so that I can fire it up during my IL-2 widthdraval effects. My kids like that little song, too.

A great article Dart. I had previously seen your video on the subject and thought it clear and concise.

Personally speaking I tend to come in at a slightly shallower angle (30-40 degrees) and for strafing I don't find rudder usage to be a problem so long is it is applied in a consistent manner.
