Nice, is it an original, or a copy mate, just curious, looks in good condition. Mabey we could all get one for SH4 too.

I've been looking for about a year, for one of these. Boot sales, jewelry stores, etc..
and it has been under my nose all this time, in one of my technical catalogues.

So I ordered one before you could say 'Kaput' http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
It is a replica (or new original) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif, but one cannot be fussy.
I ordered it from overseas for ~ 40 Pounds. Our ZAR exchange rate is like the yen lately. Pricey but I'm happy with it...
No ship rev/speed will now go unchecked http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Simulating life on a submarine is easy. Just don't bathe and don't change your underwear for 2 weeks. The entire household will know you're a dedicated submariner.

Sometime ago we used 4x French Daphne class subs, and everybody knew when a sub came back from patrol... the base smelt of walking humans.

K_Freddie ~ What catalogue did you order it from, and do they have a website please?

The company is RS components..
Their webby = http://rswww.com/cgi-bin/bv/rswww/home.do?cacheID=uknetscape&returningUser=N

The Stopwatch Catalogue Number = 329-727

NB: The watch seems to be a modern one made with probably higher tech materials (I haven't opened the innards yet - only when it konks out)
It has 'Agat' written on the face _ I assume this to be the make, and it boasts '16 jewels' whatever that means.
The knobs do feel flimsy and require a bit of pressure to operate, this might be because it's new
