I was just flying on the UK-D server, when suddenly I was getting a lot of freezes. When they were gone, I realized I had gotten company, and when I looked closer, I found out it was me. All players suddenly existed twice.

I recorded a ntrk (http://mitglied.lycos.de/jaytdee/tracks/twins.ntrk) , so if you are interested in some odd scenes, watch it. Has anyone seen this before?

And switch on manual camera control, I was switching like mad.

jtd, I can't uncompress your file. The Sitwizard keeps locking up. Can you link it somewhere else?

It's not compressed, it's just ntrk.

Probably, durig you chased a fleeing Fw190, you all exceeded speed of light, thus reverting the direction of time. Consequently you all existed doubled.

Dunno if this is modelled though.

(sorry, raaid haven't been around for a long time)

You simply hit Tab+Alt+Shift+C accidentally. That's why you had all the lag as it was a bit much for your PC as it performed the "Clone Planes" command. It works great in a heavily outnumbered dogfight as they'll shoot at the others as you and your clones attack (if you give the "group attack fighters" command) them, yet as they kill your clones having no control over theirs (as you generated them) quickly you'll have them all down.

Tab+Ctrl+Shift+C removes the clones for both sides after..........Remember though you must hit it as many times or more then the number of clones you initially generated...(make 4 clones, delete 5x to insure they're all gone or the score is divided by you all)............

Ok, well, that's all be a lie but a pretty good one. I'd just guess your PC burped http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Hmmm, guess that's a really good reason for it to not uncompress, huh?

I think they implemented Bearcat's idea of connected maps, and each plane is replicated on each map instance. You must have been flying over a Transition Map for this to have occured, where the parallel planes of any two adjacent maps may meet.

Yep I've seen it happen on Warclouds once; the others in there also had it, it was right at the end of a mission (luckily)

Looking at that screen shot made me remember I was on that server too the other night. I remembered it seemed very laggy indeed! Also saw some Cheat warnings but know this isn't from folks trying to play with time so much as lag events.

I would attribute that to internet conjestion. Strange but it happens http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif

Haven't seen it since back in the 3.0's, but it's likely a server blip.

Hapend to me to. Both having a wingman ( myselfe ) and seeing a team mate stationary at airfield whilst seeing him in the air at the same time.

Havent seen it in a pach or two though.
