Interesting. I had never seen this before but it seems the Germans fought at a different D-day June 6, 1944. They won this one. Amazing propaganda machine they had.

Never seen that one before. Good find http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well, yes thats how propaganda works. You pick out all the small victories you can get on film , no matter how unimportant they were and cut that together.

You leave all defeats out and what comes out reliefs everyone at home. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Here is another nice video.

What would the news reporting look like when D-Day would happen in 2007 ?

Its rediculous but somehow so true http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

The media fires more rounds than the soldiers do. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Notice how they filmed that Sherman from 5 or 6 different angles , they dont comment it but they tried to suggest that there were that much tanks destroyed.

I bet it was just that single one http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

This was definitly no "hot" zone as the cameraman and the soldiers were pretty at ease and were standing on a open field.

Direct line of fire from all directions with only that tank as cover.

Nobody is so stupid to walk down such a field if the enemy is near. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I also bet that those p.o.w.'s had to surrender a second time just for that camera http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You are absolutely right http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Actually, at first I was thinking that when they filmed the paratroopers from afar, they were German soldiers just acting. But yeah, I guess it would be much more simple to make the prisoners "surrender" again http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Oh, and by the way.... Isn't that a trophy Russian-made 76mm AT gun? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
