Recently, I was taking a 4 hour drive. I have a '99 Dodge Dakota 4x4. I took my hand off of the wheel for a second to change a cd. I was doing about 75 mph. I noticed I was drifting slightly to the right. The first thought that popped into my head was "Give it a little rudder trim." http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Man, I am with you...

We have a spiral sraircase at work - descends anti-clockwise, but you have to approach from the left and turn right thru 90-degrees to go down and every bloody time I imagine myself pulling a right-hand Derry turn into a spiralling left-hand dive! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I have a habit of saying three numbers when reading lens prescriptions, I always get funny looks from the Lab Manager when I do this. For example if the axis of a lens was 75 degrees, I will say zero seven five degrees.
I also have a bad habit of using the clock system to keep track of urgent jobs, for example "Bifocal job, metal frame 7 o'clock" http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif.
If you think that is bad you should see me when I am about to travel anywhere, talk about pre flight planning. Although to be fair I have never been lost anywhere (U.K. or otherwise) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think those little things that happen throughout the day that remind you of the sim are what make it so great. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I was once on a long cross country flight over Western North Dakota in a little Piper Warrior and my finger starting twitching as I got the urge to switch to fly by view, I kid you not!

I got the same feeling darkhorizon11, but I was in a little baby Piper Cherokee Cruiser! I also had a very odd dream in which I was flying a MiG-3 last night, and then it turned into a MiG-9. I felt much more comfortable in the MiG-9 than the 3.
