Well, If it's just a skinpack, so lets say, same game, different era, different part of the story, different cities, it could be done in 1/2 years... and I would be sold on it...

Remember that a lot of the time it took to make Assassin's Creed was wrapped up in them creating a whole new game engine. With the engine now complete, that should shave a significant amount of time off development of an Assassins Creed Sequel.

Who says they will use the same engine? Maybe an improved version, and that could take just as long... or an all new one, which takes even longer because of the improvement gamers expect...

Best game ever detected. (but only if it'll be better than AC1) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I'd just be satisfied if they'd just make AC1 playable for those of us who have it freeze all the time.

Maybe title it:

Assassins Creed "the working version"

or

Assassin's Creed "the non-suck version"

I'm sure they'll tweak the engine some, but they won't go as far as scrapping the current engine and making a whole new one. That would be pretty stupid to be honest. If you got something that works, why start over from scratch?

I guessing they're goal will be to have the trilogy finished around the same date as when the game takes place, in December of 2012. That gives them about a 2 year window per game.

That gives them enough time to reskin things, flesh out the rest of the storyline and add some new features to keep the game fresh throughout the trilogy.

I wonder if it will make the news like halo 3, or don't ubi have the money to bribe the mass media?
