Am seriously interested in starting an actual Assassins Creed game only in real life in my area. The game is just on the brink of explosion. The idea is tremendous. The rules will be simple. Just plain, search and eliminate. The ways to do this and make it work are 'in the works'. It definately is something that we can figure out. Any takers or any ideas of a reality game that can be pklayed on the net?

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking in a LARP sense?

Like airsoft, except primitive.

It sounds kinda cool but nerdy. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

But you don't know who the Assassin is. Could be one of your own bodyguards.

So it's like Mafia. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Just make sure nobody gets hurt: If we hear in the press that Assassin's Creed is the new killer game that influences kids to run amok because of you, you are not welcome here anymore. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

@FYTJ: I would be more worried about hearing about people dying jumping for roof tops copying the game. but then the french made it a sport.

Altair can fall unrealistically far distances, and jump far too.

Some kids would believe that's real and try it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Kids are not supposed to play the game, are they?
Don't blame the game, blame the parents.

Plus one trailer clearly says that assassins were "trained from birth". Were you trained from birth? No? Then don't try it, dammit! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

I was traind from birth http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif just not at being an assassin. and jumping over roof tops seems a bit dangerous to me after falling out of more than a few trees whenI was younger.

Kids naturally are attracted to games they're not allowed to play.

It's like when your mom tells you not to climb the house and then you instinctively want to do it just to spite her. So that big fat M means it's on every 13-year-old's birthday list.

They may have been trained from birth but they weren't trained to fall forty feet and survive. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

I know of a few kids that were killed when playing Power Rangers. One seven year old jumped on another kids head, about five or six times, because he saw it in an episode. So they added a "performed by specially trained professionals" on the end. But the kids never bothered watching the credits and even more of them died

Well, to quote Homer Simpsons "It's easy to blame ourselves, but it's even easier to blame someone else!" xD

>_> But I'm the one who is working on talking her mother into sewing an assassin costume... *cough*

Of course they're attracted to it. And I'm not saying that 14 year olds are ALL too young. It's just that according to me, good parents take interest in what their kids do. If you know that your kids are not mentally ready to play such a game, don't let them. You're their parents, for god's sake! If you can't take care of children then don't make any. But stop blaming games. That's ridiculous. Movies are violent too. Do the media blame them? No because movies are socially accepted as an adults' thing. But what society hasn't understood is that games is not only a kid thing anymore .

blaming games is easier than acknowledging your own inadequacy as a parent.
and i am not jumping off buildings without a safety harness uh uh... now beating up people -- that i could work with but only if they attacked me first.

you could easily incorporate an assassin class into D&D, it would just be basically a rogue. and you could easily make a modern-day assassin in White Wolf's games, though choosing what the character would be (vampire or mage perhaps) could be difficult.

if you mean live action though, i dunno what to say. i guess just don't use real sharp things, heh...that's the basic rule for live-action isn't it? basically, you're not even supposed to touch anyone, let alone use actual weapons
