hello,

Someone has got some P38 flying instructions or tips for flying? I will try master this plane...

Hit and run, fire at long range.

The P38 was designed to take out bombers. It never filled this role. This means it is a very stable gun platform.

As a fighter in the west it performs poorly. Use B&Z tactics, but be prepared to run away after the first pass. You can not outrun or out turn German opponents who have equal or better energy.
If you *need* to turn, use the airbrake in very short bursts to lower turn radius.

It is best used on the rare occasion that you need to take down a German bomber, or for ground pounding.
