Guess it has been asked before but I've not been lucky with the search so here it is again..

There is any way to have your aircraft disappear once you have landed on the deck and thus making place to your pals to land? It is rather embarrassing missing the cable and crashing on 2 parked aircrafts after a 2 hours successful mission! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Sure, hit "End mission".

Other than that, I can only recommend to get more landing practice.
And more practice in "judging a situation" - because if your plane is damaged, and the damage is most likely to prevent you from safely landing, then you should fly as close to the carrier as you can get and bail out.

Chock up and you can't be hit. No problem.

Of course can he be hit with deployed chocks!

I played a coop, was sitting on the deck with active chocks, and there comes that other player, crashing his plane... damaging me and 2 other planes on the deck.
Btw: We were flying a training mission for carrier takeoff/landing with Corsairs... we were still practicing my main advice http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

I parked on the front part of the deck plenty of times with wings up and deployed chocks and other players passed right through me when they missed a cable.

Seen many a plane crash thru my chocked plane, nothing. A bug or maybe someone forgot to chock up. Will keep an eye out for it.

n planes chocked, with one in the middle not chocked but holding the brakes. Bolter comes through, hits unchocked plane in middle and sets off chain reaction.

Now, that is humour.

Chocks work fine.

I played coop last night, two others chocked up right in front of the wires and when I landed I passed right through them.

If you disconnect from a coop game before the host ends, you won't get that oh-so-important score lineup on the debriefing screen... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Come on, where's the fun when you can't miss the cable and crash into other planes on the deck? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

Too bad you can't turn on the chocks in-flight.

An "anti-matter eliminator" could come in handy when you are being shot at.
