Hello,

One of my buddies (I forgot her name) told me she was 40 years old. I know some moderators could be 40 years old, but this is a NORMAL game player. Moderators, players, what's your thoughts of a 40 year old playing Imagine town?

There are no age requirements for playing Imagine Town, but they should not be giving out their age, no matter what their age is! Imagine Town is here for anyone who wants to play, regardless of their age or gender. BUT, this is why we don't allow you girls to give out your personal information! You never know who it really is you're talking to.

Just because someone is a lot older and playing doesn't mean they're a freak. While there are some bad people on the internet, it doesn't mean everyone is. You could find someone in their teens just as messed up as someone older--there's no reason to stereotype :/

I never said you were-however, still saying they might be is really rude to someone when you have no proof of that to begin with :/

Sorry to say this, but not only is it rude, calling someone something such as a freak without knowing them can also be considered as a form of prejudice...

Just saying...

Calling people mean things like freak is not nice,if someone called you a freak it wouldn't feel nice would it?I respect everyone I meet, unless it is a bad person(stranger),she might be telling the truth but she also might not be,we never know, but we shouldn't give out ANY personal information to anyone on here! Our internet safety matters, and judging person by saying they are truly a 40 year old doesn't mean it's true, just because it's online usually doesn't mean it's true.I am not being mean,I am just saying what matters and what doesn't,thank you everyone!I love you all and mods! In a friendly way!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif

Snoopiness!
Some little well-known facts about Peanuts...

-Peanuts was originally deemed "Lil Folks". The publishing company didn't like the name and called it Peanuts. Charles Schulz was mad for years.

-One reason Peanuts is called Peanuts is because to draw Snoopy, you have to start with a basic peanut shape.

-Charles Schulz was in Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not When he was a kid... his dog could "eat nails".

-Charlie Brown NEVER kicks that football!

-Two songs have been written about the Peanuts gang... "Peanuts Gallery" and "Linus and Lucy" (The more famous one).

There are more that I just can't remember... I'll post them if I do.

Thanks guys! I love that song, but I love Snoopy even more! I love the original snoopy as well, he was so cute!

Did you know that Sally was actually born into the comic? She didn't start out in it! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

She was so cute when she was little...

And we don't want you to leave FancyEmerald, the mods and everyone else just wanna make sure that everyone is being nice to eachother.

Treat others the way you want to be treated!

There is no reason to leave Imagine Town! I don't think anyone meant to be getting on your case. We are all very big on treating people with respect. That's all. Respect includes following rules and treating everyone equally. This means people of all ages, shapes, sizes, religions, gender, orientation, background, race, etc.

We would never want you to leave Imagine Town! Please stay.

It's always good to be safe FancyEmerald36. If someone ever says something that makes you uncomfortable be sure to press Help and talk to a mod about it. Just make sure you always remain respectful. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The amount of time you have to wait for a mod to respond when you hit the help button will all depend on how many other players are hitting the help button. Remember, we have to help everyone and we respond in the order the request is received! So if 10 people hit the help button before you do, you will have to wait for those 10 people to be helped first! We want to help everyone who needs it!

is why we don't allow you girls to give out your personal information! You never know who it really is you're talking to.

Also, remember that sometimes moms may play with their daughters. I play online with my daughter sometimes. It's a fun way to spend a little time together and see what she's into.

We welcome parents in Imagine Town! Some of us mods are parents, and we enjoy you guys. That's why we are here. Sometimes older people may just want to play a game that is fun and they might like to design their own clothes?

I am not 40 yet (by far) but I am a grown-up and I still color in coloring books and swing at the park. Sometimes in the summer I still run through the sprinkler like a little kid. It's fun and that's what life is about!!!

They should not have told you their age, but this is a GOOD example of why Imagine Town fun should stay in Imagine Town. Don't ever tell anyone you meet online how to find you else where. It can be dangerous.

You guys are smart, we are proud mods!

It's strange, I've never actually thought of any of the mods as parents, but it really does make sense, now that I think of it. I suppose it's just difficult to believe that you seem to do anything besides Imagine Town... When I first heard of mods, I thought of a big Ubisoft building somewhere in a big city, where everyone drinks coffe and does paperwork and taps away at a computer all day long... But you probably live in houses and make dinner and go to parent-teacher conferences and drive your kids to soccer. I think it's really interesting, though, that your daughter is on Imagine Town... It must be a great way to bond with her! And I came up with a strange question, a little while ago...
Are any of the mods... boys? Well, not boys... Men? Male gender in general? That would be a little strange...

We kind of do both. We work in an office and drink coffee (those of us that like coffee lol), but we also live in houses and do all that "normal" stuff. Some of use have kids, some don't. All of the mods are girls though.

Okay, she may be scary, but she is not a freak.

She may be older, but not a freak.

She could be joking, but not a freak.

No one should be a freak for any reason.

No one should be a freak for their age.

...

No one should be a freak for telling someone

An age they are not.

No one should have to go through stereotypes for

Being 40 years old or not telling the truth.

If she wasn't 40 years old and you met her,

Would she still be a freak?

You need to think before you call someone a

Freak.

She may be bullied in school if she is not 40.

She may be bullied online because people

May know she is 40.
No one here is a freak.
