For those that have read my memories of WW2 I have posted the story of the waist gunner on a B-17 over at the "Shockwave Forum". If there is an interest go to "Heavy Bombers and Jets". Scroll to the "Dear Mom" post. There are two pages.

I didn't read it yet because Shockwave webboards get corrupted by oversize pics. Sambt, if you wish others to read that, take out the oversize pics. Perhaps, resize them, or make them click links. Thanks.

Thanks for posting the link. I forgot how to do it. Not all that smart with this stuff so changing picture size and other suggestions are out. So anyone that has an interest in story will have to struggle thru as is, with my apology.

I see your point. You have lots of dangling [img] there. You are probably putting spaces between the [img] and the link. No spaces.

What you do is just paste the pic links so people can click them and see the pics by itself. That way, they can read the thread without all the oversize pics corrupting your thread.
